1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and using the facilities at Aspen Park, riders and all associated individuals agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply from the time a booking is confirmed and throughout the use of the Aspen Park facilities.

2. Ride at Your Own Risk

All riders acknowledge that equestrian activities carry inherent risks, including the potential for injury or accidents involving riders, horses, and third parties.

By using the facilities at Aspen Park, riders accept that they do so entirely at their own risk. Aspen Park accepts no responsibility or liability for any accident, injury, loss, or damage that may occur while using the facilities, except where liability cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

3. Rules & Conduct

All riders and visitors must follow these rules while on Aspen Park premises:

• Appropriate safety gear, including a riding helmet, must be worn at all times while mounted.

• Riders must maintain control of their horse(s) at all times and remain responsible for any horse in their care.

• Aggressive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour toward other riders, visitors, or animals will not be tolerated.

• Any incident, injury, damage, or hazard must be reported to Aspen Park management as soon as possible using the Incident Report Form.

• Riders must ensure their actions do not endanger others using the facilities.

• Horses must not be tied to floats or trucks. Horses waiting to be ridden or having been ridden must be in the cross ties either in the arena or at the stables

• NO Dogs allowed to be brought on the property

All users must help keep the premises tidy:

• Remove manure and hay from arenas and the truck parking area and place it in the designated buckets.

• Absolutely no hay bags at floats/trucks or anywhere else including in the arena

• All rubbish must be taken home.

• Muck out and Level Cross ties.

• Horses’ feet must be picked out before entering the arenas.

4. Liability Waiver

By using Aspen Park facilities, riders agree to waive any claims against Aspen Park, its owners, employees, agents, or representatives for any accident, injury, loss, or damage occurring while using the facilities.

This includes (but is not limited to) damage or loss involving personal property, vehicles, horses, tack, or equipment.

5. Responsibility for Damages

Users are responsible for any damage they or their horses cause to Aspen Park property, facilities, arenas, or equipment. Users agree to cover the cost of any required repair or replacement resulting from such damage.

6. Responsibility for Minors

Riders under the age of 18 years must be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian, or nominated responsible adult while on Aspen Park premises.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors comply with these Terms & Conditions.

7. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

Aspen Park reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Where significant changes are made, users will be notified where possible. It remains the responsibility of all riders and visitors to review and comply with the current Terms & Conditions.
